“Stopped by Bru Cafe and had a solid experience overall. The coffee selection is decent, and they offer a variety of pastries if you’re looking for a quick sweet snack. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it has a comfortable, casual vibe. The music choice was good, but a bit louder than I prefer, which made conversation a little challenging at times. It seems like a spot some people use as a workspace, especially with the free WiFi available. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Overall, a good local stop, just be prepared for a slightly louder environment if you’re planning to sit and chat. I’m sure I’ll be back.”

“Cafe Bru has become our number one coffee spot in Northfield for so many reasons. The owner is truly one of the kindest and most loving people you’ll meet he greets us like family, remembers our order, and makes us feel so welcome every time we walk in. The café is always spotless, cozy, and friendly, which makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Even though I try to make coffee at home, whenever I need a pick-me-up, this is my go-to without question. I also love that they offer dairy-free and sugar-free options, which shows they care about all their customers’ needs. My family and I absolutely love this place highly recommend! ☕💛 side note: try the tomato olive croissant warmed up and the cafe havanna AMAZING!”

“Really cute coffee shop! the staff were really helpful and nice when I told them it was my first time there. I got the French toast latte and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. the latte was solid and the food was good too! they also had tons of homemade savory and sweet pastries”

“I was impressed by how fresh everything was! I even saw them baking the croissants in the morning, and they were terrific. The guava and cheese pastries are a must-try; they are so delicious and flaky. I also had one of their breakfast sandwiches, which was equally satisfying. Great food and a friendly vibe.
